About Clyde D. Finlay

Biography

cropped-23585_381948799730_4507611_n-1.jpgClyde Finlay is an International Artist who was born, raised and currently lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. After retiring from a long career in the Justice Department I graduated in Fine Arts. I enjoyed participating with passion in education, art workshops, art camps and art presentations in different capacities through art organizations at an international level and teaching.

With various mediums and art styles, I have been able to exhibit in Canada, the United States and Europe.  Additionally I have also had the pleasure of featured articles about my art in local periodicals such as the Winnipeg Free Press. Examples include:

I have participated in various studies and research that has importance that include excursions with the University of Manitoba and the Winnipeg Art Gallery in Brooklyn, New York ( Cartographies ), Chicago, Minneapolis, New York, Los Angeles, across Canada and Europe.
